Term 0 - Introduction to Human Resources Management (optional)
The admissions committee recommends all students to attend this term, and may make Term 0 compulsory for several students, after appraising their CV. This special preparation will enable students to adapt more easily to the issues discussed in the required courses.

Faculty
Aristides Isidoro FERREIRA
Assistant Professor IBS and researcher in the Business Research Unit. He has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Minho. He has published in several journals, such as International Journal of Project Management, The International Journal of Human Resource Management, and Stress and Health.
Francisco NUNES
Researcher and Assistant Professor at IBS, has a PhD in Human Resource Development from ISCTE-IUL. He worked as a consultant in Marketing and Organizational Development for several organizations, and is currently the head of the Human Resource and Organizational Behavior Department at ISCTE-IUL.
Graça TRINDADE
Assistant Professor at IBS, she teaches the course Statistics in Human Resources Management and Economics. She also lectures the course Data Analysis in Economics.
Henrique DUARTE
Assistant Professor at ISCTE in the areas of Career Management and Compensation, his research interests are related with the impacts of HR policies over cooperation, free riding and counterproductive behaviours. He had experience of HR Direction on Financial companies and on consultancy. He holds a PhD degree in Organizational Psychology from ISCTE.
José María LEÓN-PÉREZ
Post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources (ISCTE-IUL). He holds a PhD degree in HRM from University of Seville (Spain). Leon-Perez has consulting experience and several publications in peer-reviewed journals like Industrial Health, International Journal of Conflict Management,and Psychology of Violence.
Luis MARTINS
Assistant Professor at IBS, PhD in Management, has extensive experience as a consultant in organizational development in private and public companies.
Rosário CABRITA
Researcher and Assistant Professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, she holds a PhD in Management from ISEG (Lisbon) and has had an extensive career in the banking sector and consulting. She has published in journals including, International Journal of Knowledge-Based Development, International Journal of Business and Systems Research, International Journal of Engineering and Industrial Management.
Silvia DELLO RUSSO
Researcher and assistant professor at IBS, Silvia Dello Russo holds a PhD degree in Organizational Psychology from University Sapienza of Rome (Italy). She has been a visiting post-doc researcher at Aston University (UK) and has worked as a consultant in the area of human resource management.

This tuition includes:
- Travel and accommodation for the mid-week residential stay in Seville, Spain.
- Travel, accommodation and meals for the initial residential weekend and the leadership practical training course.
