Application Process

The application process includes:

• Online application form or application form;
• A detailed curriculum vitae;
• Copy of certificates referenced in the curriculum vitae;
• Copy of ID card or passport;
• Two references (one academic and one professional, preferably);
• A text of four pages (Times New Roman, font 11, double space) with two sections: Motivation to applying for the DBA (1 page) description of the area and the theme to be developed in the research project, the objectives that a priori anticipated for the project and the contribution that it can produce (3 pages) bibliography optional.
• Application fee, non-refundable €100.

 

It is recommended the submission of applications as early as possible, since the whole process of evaluation and pre-selection is carried out on a rolling basis.

Number of Vacancies

Given the nature and mode of organization of the Program only up to 12 candidates will be accepted.

Enrollments

Enrollments will take place in mid-July, on dates to indicate at the time of application and the first installment of the 1^st year should be paid.

Admission Requirements

The DBA is designed for participants who meet the following requirements:

• Degree in any field of knowledge;
• Professional experience of at least twelve years post-graduate, in which at least half are in the performance of management functions, involving managerial responsibilities/coordination units, departments or technical teams;
• Fluency in English.

Other valuable factors for applicants:

• Master in Management;
• Publications and/or papers presented at technical, scientific or thematic conferences, seminars and workshops;
• Worth of professional experience in the performance of management positions;
• Motivation and commitment to implementing the DBA;
• Characterization of the research project.

Tuition

The DBA has an annual fee that varies depending on the stage in which the participant is in the Program. In the 1^st year annual fee is €9.000 2^nd year is €6.000 and €5.500 in the following years.

The frequency of the program requires a minimum of three years of school fees continuing to be required annually by the year (inclusive) in which the dissertation is accepted for discussion. If the dissertation has not been delivered up to a maximum of six years after enrolling in the program, it will be canceled. Fees will be paid in two semiannual installments of equal value, on each end of September and March each year, except for the first semester payment to be paid upon registration in the program.
